Behavior and Courtesy to Royalty

Personages of Royalty and Rank should be treated with respect befitting their title. This does not mean you should make a great show of groveling to them…although a little bit of groveling never hurt anyone! (Official Royalty of the presiding festival, faire or sponsoring event shall always be considered the highest ranking royalty while in attendance) .

Any Active Members of Royal Rank in other like Organizations shall be given the proper recognition and courtesy deserving of their title or position during our visit.

If any member of the Court is speaking with someone, don't interrupt, but wait to be noticed. This is obviously a common courtesy to people of any rank.

If a Royal Member is walking past, make a small but noticeable reverence (bow or courtesy) as he or she walks by. This will allow others to know that someone of royalty or rank has passed by and will often times encourage other patrons to get involved and “play the part”.
